Picks from this week’s carnival
Posted on October 3rd, 2006 by mbhunter
As promised, here are some of my picks from this week’s Carnival of Debt Reduction:
- Searchlight Crusade does his usual thorough job with this post on forty- and fifty-year mortgages. New and creative ways to goad people into taking on more debt than they can handle so that they’re forever trying to get rid of it.
- Tricia of Blogging Away Debt ran the numbers and found out what sending even more money to repaying debt can do.
- J.D. of Get Rich Slowly gives kudos to the debt snowball method after using it to pay off a whole lotta debt.
- Blunt Money wisely reminds us that thinking “it’s just $20″ when we spend money can have a huge impact on debt repayment, mortgages, and so forth.
- No Credit Needed surprises people when they ask: “You can do that?”
Next week, the Frugal Duchess hosts, so head on over to BlogCarnival.com and submit a great article about debt reduction!
